Roofing/Cladding

Installation of roofing/cladding via Rope Access is fast becoming a ‘go-to’ solution for companies when traditional methodology becomes overly complex. Especially on high level and/or complex deigns such as curved roofs.

For example, when compared to building very large scaffold structures, that can be very costly, obstructive and time consuming to build, Rope Access can offer a viable alternative.

Glazing

The glazing industry was a very early adopter of Rope Access considering its requirement to install at high level and often in built up city centre locations, especially in the remedial works market. Imagine if you had to change one pane of glass on a high-rise structure due to damage. Building a large scaffold or installing a mast climber would not be reasonably practicable.

#thinkaccess have carried out multiple projects for the glazing industry with the safety of those in proximity always paramount.

Edge Protection

Cost-effective temporary edge protection

#thinkaccess temporary access division specialises in the installation of edge protection to both FASET and Edge Protection Federation standards, as well as being an installer accredited member of the EPF.

Temporary edge protection is required when working at height to prevent people or objects from falling to a lower level. Edge protection can be installed anywhere from station platforms, and stadiums to rooftops or warehouses. Providing a temporary protective barrier whilst any works are carried out.
