Our previous projects in Manchester
For many years our Rope Access Technicians have been delivering fast, affordable and safe projects to local businesses in Manchester and the surrounding area.
Here at #thinkaccess we pride ourselves on building long term relationships with our customers. No project spotlights this best than our work on the cladding on Terminal 2 of Manchester Airport
Having been on site from the commencement of the project our customer knew the logical methodology for this installation was via Rope Access.
Running along the connection point of the existing Terminal 2 building and the new extension meant there was an access issue with regards to cladding and weatherproofing in this area. Especially when you consider the roof of the existing Terminal 2 building is glazed.
Working closely with our temporary works engineers our teams were able to build scaffold structures capable of suspending themselves from whilst mini cranes were utilised to lower the large panels into place.
#thinkaccess also fully weatherproofed the area and handover to the client on time!
Being such a key building in Manchester, this project is one of our proudest examples of the work we have done for the local community.
